How to Follow Replies to Questions in Communities

Is there a link to a document that describes how to use the Apple Communities? For example, I am trying to manage how to be notified of replies to any questions I post or to follow any replies to other questions I might be interested in. Thanks.

When you create a post or post in an existing thread you are automatically set to Follow that thread, and will get email notifications when there's activity in that thread.

You can also read through this tutorial to learn more about how the ASC works:

You may have them disabled. Any time I post in a new thread, I automatically start to follow it, and get emails about any activity within. Like this thread, its set to Following, even though I have not manually Followed it.

I don't usually follow Forums or General Topic areas to avoid tons of Email.

Yes the default is to have emails sent when there's activity in anything you Follow, which of course can be turned off.

If you use the my subscriptions feature then following forums is part of making use of them, but you probably don't want all of the traffic from multiple forums in your email inbox.

Indeed I don't. Which is why I don't follow forums. I rarely if ever actually Follow a thread even. I just let the post auto follow it. I've been tempted however to stop following a couple super long threads that keep getting resurrected. 😉

Ah yes, I'm still subscribed to some significant honey pots, but at least

I only see them when I choose to sign in.
