Missing itunes library collection

Hi, I've lost my entire itunes library which I've had for years, a mixture of music purchased and others downloaded from CDs. I'm not sure how this happened. All that appears on my mac and iphone is one album and voice memos. Do you know what may have happened and how I can retrieve my entire music library? I had dozens of playlist and thousands of songs. Thank you!

Hi vcor,

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like you are missing all of your music from different sources except for one album. This can happen if you are using a different Library in iTunes. Switching to a different Library will only show the songs from there even if the songs are still stored locally. I would recommend you read this article and use it to help troubleshoot the issue.

Open a different iTunes Library file or create a new one
