Buy phone in US - use in Netherlands
Hi!
Soon I'll visit New York and would like to buy a new iPhone there. Is it possible to also use US iPhones with Dutch SIM/Carrier? Or is it locked in some way?

Make sure you buy the "sim free" model from the Apple Store and it will work.
Any other model or a model bought elsewhere will lead to complications that are difficult to resolve.
Apple warranty only applies in the country of purchase.
