That looks like the hidden message feature where you have to swipe it to see the whole thing.
Do you have a screenshot of it?
Yes. Doesn’t seem to happen every time.
I can find invisible ink effect, but it looks like this on my screen.
I think you have a different issue then. Have you tried a forced restart?
Well just did that and the shapes are back to normal. Silly me thinking it was some cool new feature in os 11! Thanks for the help!
