Connecting USB musical keyboard to iPad Air via Lightning-to-USB cable no longer works since upgrading to iOS 11. Anyone else have this problem?

I have been using the Apple Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter to connect a USB musical keyboard to my iPad Air for at least a year. With the USB keys, I am able to use Gallileo, an app from Apple's app store, that emulates a Hammond B3 organ. Then, I connect the audio-out on the iPad to an amplifier.

However, since upgrading to iOS 11, this configuration no longer works. During the many times I have tried to correct this, a message occasionally pops up: “This accessory is not supported.“ I have seen similar messages when using non-Apple lightning cables and charging blocks to charge my iPhone or iPad, but they usually work anyway. This is an official Apple connector, and it's not working.

Anyone else having this problem when connecting keys to record with GarageBand or other music app? This seems to be related to the new iOS. Is there fix coming from Apple?

Yes, I have a similar problem with my Roland vdrums. I posted a post about it in these forums. I called Apple support, and they told me if the message says the instrument is not supported, it is no longer supported in iOS 11. I recommend calling Apple support and politely discuss the issue with them. Hopefully if enough people bring it to their attention they will do something about it
