This new do-not-distrub while driving feature concerns me. I am a law enforcement officer and I must have access to both incoming and outgoing calls while driving. (Law enforcement is cited as an exception to all restrictions while driving) I use my personal phone for work all the time. Can this be turned off? Permanently, so that I don't have to keep messing with it?

You do not have to use Do Not Disturb While Driving. Just set it to manual rather than automatic. That way it will only turn on if you specifically tell it to.
Obviously, I have not downloaded the update as it might limit my ability to do my job. Thanks for referring me to another source. You would make a great customer service rep at ATT. (Why can’t anyone just answer a simple question anymore?)
