iPhone formatting question

So I currently have an iPhone 6S, it is formatted for Mac (with my MacBook Pro). I also have a PC (desktop) with a very large harddrive containing my music collection. Before I get the new phone, I am backing up my current phone because there are all sorts of photos and data and such I want to have on the new phone. I am going to be getting a new phone soon and I'm trying to figure out if there is any way to restore the backup I make (on my MacBook Pro) from the old phone onto the new phone but still be able to add my music collection from my PC onto my new phone. Is this even possible?
