Apple Watch not loading app notification images

Ever since I updated to watchOS 4, the app images don't load on notifications. If I get a Snapchat or Twitter notification, the actual app image within the notification will not properly load. It looks like the "grid" that occurs when you are first downloading an app from the App Store. Image is attached.
