Will magnets in my case harm my iPhone 8 Plus?

I just recently got the iPhone 8 Plus and as a car accessory I got one of those car mounts where you stick a magnet underneath your case and then the phone will magnetically stick to the mount. Now I was wondering if this will hinder the process of wireless charging if I ever decide to get a charging pad, and if keeping those magnets near the battery at all will damage it? I don’t know how wireless charging works but I somehow feel keeping magnets close to a battery with that function might be a bad idea? Is that correct?
