Mac OS High Sierra- Plugins not showing up

I downloaded Mac OS High Sierra the other day and now any new 3rd party plugins I install won't be detected by the Plugin Manager in Logic Pro X. The .component files are in the right folders and all plugins are 64 bit. Maybe it's something to do with the pathway of how the Plugin Manager scans for new plugins? I'm not really sure... but I think it's definitely something to do with the update to High Sierra.

Several of us had this in another thread and we found that unfortunately Apple is acting like microsoft on this one. Try rebooting your computer and see if when you start logic after a reboot, if it doesn't scan for the new components for you. To be safe, I'd quit logic, reboot, then start logic, and not just count on the OS to reload it because it was already running. Doubt that would matter, but better safe than sorry. It worked for the rest of us on that thread anyway.

Good luck,
