Splitscreen iOS11 not wokring on iPAD Pro

Hello,

The new feature of multitasking and split-screen is not working on my iPAD Pro with iOS 11 – it worked for the
first test I did of the feature and never again.

When I try to slide open the 2nd application from the launch DOCK it move the application
icon out of the DOCK instead of launching the application.

The test I’m trying;
I launch Photos
Then I attempt to launch messages or email - I alos tried the reverse order – mail or message then photo.
The result it moves the icon out of the DOCK...

I have verified in Setting that Allow Multiple Apps in enabled
I have enabled and disabled it a few times and restarted my iPAD in-between a few times, but nothing seems to work.

I have verified that my iPAD Pro (9.7-inch iPad Pro) is meant to support this feature, and my os build is 11.0.2 (15A421)

Is this a know bug?
