There are disconnect and reconnect buttons/links on Movies Anywhere under "Manage Retailers" and iTunes when accessing "View my Account".

After signing up for Movies Anywhere on 10/12, my new Disney digital code entries at Movies Anywhere would not appear in iTunes. The movies did show at VUDO and Movies Anywhere.

Possible solution: While logged into both services, I disconnected the iTunes at Movies Anywhere, then disconnected at iTunes. Then connected at Movies Anywhere and connected at iTunes. Logged off both services. When iTunes was reopened, all the new purchases plus the UltraViolet redemptions from authorized studios appeared in iTunes.

With Apple iTunes, some HD titles are now 4K at no additional charge when using Apple TV 4K. Looks fantastic.

Disney movies in 4K (Guardians Vol 2 and Pirates Dead Men...) show up as HD with Apple. They show up as UHD in VUDO and play in UHD with a 4K Roku.

Maybe after the initial rush of account creation at Movies Anywhere will we return to previous speeds of movies appearing at iTunes.

Same issue, connected it last night and Movies Anywhere shows it's connected and says it completed in iTunes when I set it up, but looking at my iTunes account it doesn't show the Movies Anywhere connection under Apple ID Summary so I can't disconnect it and try again. Contacting Movies Anywhere I got the same response about delays and backlogs but this looks more like an iTunes/Apple ID issue since it's not showing up as connected here but it is fine on the other end.

When you are logged onto Movies Anywhere and select the menu under the "v" on the upper right that shows "Manage Retailers", is the iTunes selection showing "Disconnect"?

If it does, what happens when you try to disconnect.

If it says "Connect", then I would attempt to reconnect.

I used the same email address as Disney Movies Anywhere when creating the new account at Movies Anywhere. It asked if I wanted my Disney movies to be moved, and they all came over. It was finished within a minute. The original "Disney Movies Anywhere" text on the summary page became "Movies Anywhere" at iTunes.

Is it possible that a different email address would trigger a 180 day wait and prevent connection? Or, does the 180 days start with new different connection? I would like a better explanation in iTunes help.

Be sure to "Provide iTunes Feedback" under the iTunes menu. Apple and KeyChest are going to have to work together to solve the connectivity issues. A new digital code I entered hours ago at Movies Anywhere has not appeared in iTunes. The 8 hour wait announcement earlier in the day at MA seems troubling.

Hitting Disconnect asks if your sure you want to disconnect and gives the 180 warning for connecting a new account then says you must go to the Apple Account Information page in iTunes which gives you a confirm button to continue. iTunes opens at that point to the account page where you can view pre-orders and CC info but there used to be nothing listed in the Apple ID Summary portion that said Movies Anywhere

Of course upon starting to write this message I just checked mine and it says the connection is pending so maybe there really is just a backlog on iTunes end that needed to be cleared up, with any luck should be completed soon.

Thanks for the update. A connection pending message would be very comforting at this point. Original content at iTunes should still be accessible during the wait.

Once the connection is complete and the 20th Century Fox, Sony, Universal, Disney and Warner Brothers films are in iTunes, I think you will agree it was worth the wait.

My Disney redemption on 10/13 had not appeared in iTunes on 10/14. After one more forced disconnect and connect at both Movies Anywhere and iTunes it finally appeared.

I entered several other digital codes at Disney Movie Rewards that links to Movies Anywhere for additional redemptions. For the recent redemption to be visible, it was necessary to quit iTunes and open iTunes. Everything appears to be working normally on 10/14 with hopefully no more disconnects and connects necessary.

Try logging off at both iTunes and Movies Anywhere. Close the browser and iTunes. Next, open the browser and iTunes and log back into iTunes and Movies Anywhere. Check if you can connect at Movies Anywhere. When you can connect at Movies Anywhere, it will open iTunes to complete the process.

I hope that will help. If not, call the customer care at Movies Anywhere. I found that their phone support staff were friendly and helpful.
