How do I record sound? I can’t find an app for that. Maybe I deleted it?

It’s called Voice Memo. If you can’t find it on you phone, search for it in the App Store and redownload it.

Actually, you need to type voice memos (with an s).

It's odd that without that little s it becomes harder to find. While there are plenty of free voice recorder apps one can find under voice memo, the one I believe the OP wants is the Apple Voice Memos.

Music Memos might also be useful in some cases.

I actually never record memos of any kind. Anything I need, I just create a note and refer to them there. I'm a simple kind'a feller!

My problem with recording memos is that it takes to long to listen to them later. I find reading faster. But, I have known people who find voice memos work for them.
