How to flow tables across pages

I have a pages document that needs to include a long table that will flow across multiple pages; however I can't figure out how to do that in Pages (v6.3). Currently, when the table gets to the end of the page boundaries, I can add rows, but they disappear at the page border rather than flow onto the next page. In an ideal situation, large cells would split across pages - but right now I'd just be happy to get the table to do it! Page setup is currently Word Processing. I tried layout, but couldn't get it to work either.
