xmemapp task uses a lot the CPU!

I noticed that my battery looks like 5 years old because it discharges really quickly. I figured out why. A task in the Task Manager called "xmemapp" uses my CPU on 60-70% all time all of my cores. I shutted down this task and nothing happened except my CPU usage went down to 4-5% (Safari and iTunes were running). What can i do with it except shutting it down all the time when the CPU usage is above the sky?

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13)

Hi there,

just go to '/Library/Application Support' and remove folder name xmemapp.

I faced similar problem. I deleted the folder and now it is normal.

Thank you very much. In fact, i downloaded the Adware Removal tool and it told me the location of this miner so I deleted it manually. But there is another .plist or what file. :D
