is verizon cloud and I cloud the same
I have verizon cloud on my I phone 5s and also show I Cloud in settings backing up. I can not open ICloud
are these applications the same ?

No, the Verizon Cloud is owned and operated by Verizon Wireless.
The iCloud is owned and operated by Apple.
You can access iCloud by going to http://icloud.com and using your Apple ID and password to gain access.
