Keyboard covering textfield in some apps (iPhone8)

I’m having this issue. Weirdly I’ve found that switching to the emoji keyboard and then back to the regular keyboard fixes it. Needs a proper fix still but that’s a good workaround.

I went into settings scrolled down to Safari and selected Clear History and Website Data and now the text block in google moves up above the keyboard.

@apple_support! This issue is extremely annoying. It happens in messages, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and more!

This is becoming more and more a deal breaker for me. I'm seriously considering dumping my iPhone X for Android. At least there the keyboard works!

I get the same thing on the iPhone X, happens in Instagram and Facebook from what I can tell.

And yes, switching to Emoji and back fixes it (and sometimes causes it.)

I downloaded 11.2.1 but didn't fix it..

Please fix this apple, BAD USER EXPERIENCE!

I am having the same issue too for iPhone 8plus. This problem happens for ALL apps. Apple please fix it, it is quite frustrating

I have the same issue on my iPhone X too, it happens almost everywhere, facebook, instagram, whatsapp.. So annoying and Frustrating.

Same issue here with my iPhone X and wife’s iPhone X. ios 11.2.1. happens on nearly every app.

Same here on the iPhone X running latest firmware 11.2.5. Happens on Airbnb app as well as other mentioned.

Shouldn't really be happening this many months and updates after a major release.

Apple is right to be focusing on bug fixes in the next release.. The overall Apple experience is feeling more like Windows lately 😟
