does a subscription confirmation email mean you have already payed for it?

I got this app for free, then it asked for my touch id to have a purchase confirmation of $144.99, i tried to get out of it by pressing the home button which was really dumb because it got my touch id. I then got an subscription confirmation email but i have a three day free trial, have un subscribed. Does it mean i have payed for it already or will it get the money in 3 days.
