Nike running app with V2 Nike watch is not working properly or starting when I request to start run

Not sure if the recent ios4 update has changed things but I am not able to get my apple watch to start a run. I have tried to use the Nike app in my iPhone 6 and the same problem occurs. If I can get the app to start the run and I am using the treadmill, it does not track movement.
