Since recent updates my gifs aren’t working in messages? Tried few different things but only about 4 or 5 load and can search gifs at all

Hi Shera1969,

I understand from your post since updating to iOS 11 that sending GIFs are not working in the Messages app for you.

Give the steps from the article below a try to remove and then re-add the iMessage app(s) that aren't working:

Use iMessage apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Manage iMessage apps

You can add apps that you use the most to your Favorites so you have quick access to them in the app drawer. You can also reorder apps in the app drawer, remove the ones you don’t want, and more. Here’s how:

  1. Tap User uploaded file to open the app drawer. Then tap User uploaded file.
  2. Tap Edit in the upper-right corner to do the following:

To remove an app, tap User uploaded file.

Download iMessage apps

You can find and download apps to use with iMessage in the App Store for iMessage. Here's how:

  1. To go to the App Store for iMessage, open the app drawer and tap User uploaded file.
  2. Tap User uploaded file next to the app, then tap Install.
  3. Enter your Apple ID password.
  4. Tap User uploaded file to return to your message.

After the app downloads, you can find it in the app drawer.

Let us know if this corrects the issue.

Have a great day!
