Bonjour for Windows has not been updated for quite some time, however it does still work under Windows 64bit installations even if it is not itself 64bit.
Some more esoteric software for Windows will need and use Bonjour but the other main use for Bonjour in Windows is to make it possible to add printers via Bonjour auto-discovery.
It used to be quite a hassle to add network printers to Windows - often the only way was to dig out the original CD installer disc and re-run the installer which had its own auto-discover feature. Windows itself at the time and downloaded printer drivers did not do as good a job. Windows these days does seem much better reducing the benefit of this.
