imessage stuck on lock screen

Hello,

I just updated my iphone 7 with ios 11.0.3 and my message window gets stuck on the lock screen.

every time i reset the phone, it goes away but reappears eventually when i get a text. you can see the screenshot below of how my lock screen looks. i tried pressing the "X" and swiping on it but it seems to be unresponsive.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that the notification for your Messages freezes on your Lock screen and you cannot remove it even by tapping the X or swiping. In a situation like this I recommend turning the Show on Lock Screen feature for your Messages Notifications off, restarting your iPhone and then turning it back on.

I had that problem with 11.03 with my iphone 6 now my iphone 8 is doing it. Called apple many times, they have no clue how to fix it. Its not the phones its something with Imessage. Unreal!
