How to Delete Cities from the Weather App on my iPhone 8 using IOS 11.03?

• Open the Weather app
• Tap on the icon in the lower right corner (the list icon)
• Tap the +
• Search for the location you want to add
• Tap on the right selection
• To delete, swipe left on any selection (you must leave at least 1)
• Tap on any selection to go back to the Weather screen
• You can scroll left and right to access your various locations

Again, can you provide a screenshot of your Weather screen where the list option is missing? - Sorry, we crossed in posting 🙂.

So, try the items you see below. Deleting the app and re-downloading it may be the only way to fix it.

Also, have you tried double-tapping the Home Key and completely closing the Weather App and then re-opening it again fresh to see if that resolves the issue?

If that doesn't fix it, then reset the device: Hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons and continue to hold them both down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Lock screen displays, open the Weather App to see if the issue is fixed.

You also can delete the app and re-download it from the App Store on your iOS device.

Wow - interesting. I messed around with my app until I somehow got the bottom line to disappear, but can't re-create whatever it is that I did. Is this a feature or a bug? If it is a feature, what is the "official" way to make the bottom line disappear?

Yes - I updated my last post to indicate that.

Follow the instructions that Lawrence Finch provided. I somehow got my device to lose that bottom line, and the pulling your fingers together toward the middle will bring up the list. Once the list shows, then when you go back, that bottom line has the various options again.

Hey, seems like I can consistently get it to disappear if I simply lightly tap with my fingers gathered together right above the line itself. Weird....

Then your squeezing trick allows you to bring up the list!

There is no longer a list icon on the weather screen. No way to add a city or delete one.

Can you provide a screenshot of the Weather screen?

I am using iPhone 7 iOS 11.0 .3 – there is no longer a list icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen – no way to add or delete cities – anyone else having this problem?

I did proride to screenshot – do you see it?

I haven't been able to get the bottom line to disappear, but I did stumble on the "squeeze" by accident. I have a 7 Plus, and perhaps it's permanent on the larger screen.

That's what I have as well, and something I did made it go away entirely. I'll keep playing to see if I can find any consistent way to make it happen. But the squeezing tip works to get it back!

When you have the list of cities displayed you can delete by swiping left.

Right - I do that all the time. I'm always needing to add a new city to check the weather for where I'm going, or where my friend is going, or where someone I work with lives.... 😀
