Hi
what's called temporary internet files in windows are called the "Cache" in Mac and you can find these files by going to your HOME folder then LIBRARY then CACHES and then finally SAFARI

When you open the Safari cache folder you will see more folders inside these folders are the temp internet files (windows) or Cache (Mac) when you find the individual files you can open them in text edit the safari cache only holds about 20 MB's
Hope these answers your question

They are temporary internet files. The WebKit.framework (which is what Safari uses to display HTML content) doesn't store files in their original format like Windows does. Instead, it stores them in binary archives using some sort of NSArchiving/NSCoding method.

Safari's cache folder is limited to 20 MB in size, so older items are pruned as needed.

Hope this helps...
