Can twins unlock phones with only ones finger prints programmed?

Today my identical twin brother picked my phone up and told me I need to password my phone. It is passcode and finger print protected. He dose not know my passcode and I have only programmed MY finger prints. Every finger I programmed he could unlock. We did this for about an hour. Any other twins have this problem? Apple is your finger print scanner not up to par?

In your case, I would use the pass code in place of finger print ID. You can turn off Finger Print ID.

The fingerprint scanner reads a scanned fingerprint. If an identical fingerprint is used, it will work.

Do you and your identical twin have identical fingerprints? Apparently. Otherwise, you wouldn't be identical.

I have read that identical twins don't have identical fingerprints. They are not genetic but formed during gestation & twins have separate amniotic sacs (only very, very rarely do identical twins share an amniotic sac).

I guess we do have the same fingerprints. Just wanted to know if ppl were having problem with there’s or my twin can now access my phone at any time. Lol we where told we were mirror image twins.
