Ipad pro 10.5 smart keyboard not working

I have an ipad pro 10.5 with the smart keyboard that is only 3 ish months old. Ever since i started coming to my new college, the keyboard would quit working at random times and i could not figure out why. I brought it to my apple store and they replaced the keyboard no questions asked. The new keyboard worked until two days later when i got to school and tried to use it. I’ve realized over time now that the keyboard only stops working when i’m at school and connect to my schools wifi network. It’s really annoying because i have to restart my device after connecting to the wifi just to get the keyboard to work. I know it sounds bizarre but its really annoying and i’m wondering if anyone has the same issue or has any clue why this would be happenning, Thanks.

I have verified this bug to be true, it is consistent and repeatable - whenever you must log in to a WiFi network, even if the Smart Keyboard is removed from the iPad and the login is accomplished with the on-screen keyboard, the Smart Keyboard then mated with the iPad 10.5, for some reason, in iOS 11 through 11.2.5, the Smart Keyboard will become disabled, requiring a restart to be recognized again.

I don’t believe this is a hardware issue, I have been given two replacement keyboards, a replacement iPad and have done a restore as new. The issue always returns as described, log in to WiFi network, the Smart Keyboard is disabled.

Most posters about the issue have not noted the conditions causing the disabling of their keyboards, but I would guess this to be consistent.

How do we escalate this to Apple software engineering?

I, for one, need to log in to several WiFi networks in a day and must waste valuable time restarting the iPad 10.5 after each login to be able to use my Smart Keyboard.

This bug may also be occurring with the larger iPad Pro, and it would be interesting to note if this occurs with any non-Apple keyboards that may use the hardware connect point.
