Permanently Unhide Folder on Shared Server

We have a shared server and a folder that has always been there is now hidden. I know how to "see" it, as far as showing hidden folders, but I need to make it permanently unhidden, as it was not supposed to be hidden in the first place (and I have no idea how it happened). This doesn't have anything to do with just my computer or what OS it's on—permissions, etc. are correct on our server (Synology Diskstation) and the folder is NOT hidden when logging through that instead of Finder. How do I actually unhide in Finder (as opposed to showing hidden folders)?
