ios 11.0.3 phone gets country code wrong

Hi, I just installed iOI 11.0.3 to my iPhone. I live in Brunei and am calling Brunei phone numbers; yet the Phone app seems to think that I am calling to Brazil. (this was never the case before). How can I teach my phone that Brunei has country code +673 and Brazil +55?

I see that you're not able to make phone calls to contacts within your country. It seems that it's redirecting to Brazil. I'm happy to help.

Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad -- Make sure the carrier settings on your phone is up-to-date.
