Rich text in email signatures

Is there any way to have Rich Text (e.g. colours) in email signatures on iOS 11? In previous versions of iOS, I used to send myself the email signature, copy it, and paste it into the Signature setting in Settings > Mail. I then used to shake my iPhone and tap Undo Change Attributes; however, when I shake my iPhone now, the only option is to Undo Paste. I have also tried this on my iPad but it doesn’t work either.

Solved the issue by contacting Apple Support.

To have rich text formatting in an email signature (as a standard signature through Settings), you either need to create the signature in Pages or copy it into Pages, and then copy it into Settings. This doesn't require any formatting once in Settings. The guy I chatted with at Apple said he'd report the loss of rich text formatting when copying from Mail to Settings as a bug.
