I have taken photos within iOS 11 Notes on my iPad Pro but it doesn't seem that I can do anything with the pictures. I can't crop or resize or even edit the photos. I have found I can display them at small size, but has anyone found how one can do anything with the pictures in your notes?

Thanks for your reply. The captured photos do show up in Photos automatically - but they do not seem to be dynamically linked back to the Notes (as you mentioned) - you must delete the original photo and replace it with the edited version. This is, IMHO, fairly lame. Hopefully they will at least give us the ability to resize or crop the pictures in a future version.
Sorry, that is incorrect. Apparently, the photo is actually stored in Notes. But you can share it to Photos. Tap/hold, select Share, then Save. Then you can edit in Photos.
Then, use the "+" in notes to access the Photo Library to retrieve the edited version.
Clearly, the camera feature in Notes is just a shortcut to using the Camera directly, then adding the photo to the note.
Hi. Even though the photo is associated with a Note, it should be in Photos, in Camera Roll or All Photos. You should be able to edit it there.
