Weekly Summary and Move goal suggestions

One of my favorite things on Monday morning was seeing my weekly summary and move goal suggestions. This is one of the best features the watch had. I know you can see the weekly summary thought the Activity app at any time. But the notification isn’t in the settings anymore. Anyone know how to get move goal rexcomendations in watchOS 4?

I figured it out. "Daily Coaching" has to be switched on in the Activity app to receive the weekly summary and move goal suggestions.

Hi

The weekly summary is still provided on a Monday, potentially with a new Move goal suggestion.

If you are not receiving the summary (check in Notification Centre), then it may help to follow these steps:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > check that Wrist Detection is turned on.
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch (tab) > Health.

If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "Yes" or "No" as appropriate (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).

  • Restart your Apple Watch (normally):

  • Monitor performance after making any changes.
