My Verizon Data Widget Issue

Allo,


Does anyone happen to know why the aforementioned widget displays a green bar instead of its normal user interface as shown below?

This happens frequently and the only way to revert to the bottom image is to open the app. Background refresh is enabled on all of my apps so it shouldn’t be an issue of not being able to read and update automatically. 🤔

I’m monitoring for the month of October because I recently switched from a 16 GB plan to the lower unlimited plan due to Verizon claiming that I kept hitting my data cap three months in a row.


I did not increase my usage, so I found it highly unlikely that I would hit the cap thereby preventing any excess data from rolling over (due to the rollover I would usually start out with around 26 GB or so I believe).


To stop the annoyance, I elected to upgrade to the unlimited which now causes me to use my tele more often, lol. The widget switching back and forth betwixt the two images shown doesn’t affect me negatively; I was just curious as to why it was doing such but I’ll take the advice of the chaps below and post this on the Verizon forums.
