Apple Watch screen care

I suggest that you buy a screen protector that is specifically designed for Apple Watch Series 3.

Another user has reported that screen protectors from Zagg, for example, that are designed for Series 2 models do not fit properly on Series 3 models.

Here is a photo of Watch series 2 and 3 each with identical Zagg screen protectors. The screen protectors fit the watches exactly the same because the screens are exactly the same size.

Any stick on screen protector will fit either watch. The screens are exactly the same size.

The watch 3 Case is .25 mm thicker. If you put series 2 case on a series 3 watch it will damage any screen protector, because it does not fit the watch.

As stated by Apple: Apple Watch Series 2 and 3 screen size 38mm 1.3-inch / 42mm 1.65-inch.

The screens are the same size. The cases are not the same size!

Apple Watch 2

38mm: 38.6X33.3X11.4mm

42mm: 42.5X36.4X11.4mm

Apple. Watch 3

36mm: 38.6X33.3X11.65mm

42mm: 42.5X36.4X11.65mm

The Apple Watch 3 is .25mm thicker than the the Apple Watch 2.

Screen protectors will fit both watches, but cases will not!

If you are using a case over your watch you will need to buy one made for Apple Watch 3.
