Enable wi-fi on locked iphone?

Hi,

I have a work issued iPhone 6+. I have incorrectly entered my passcode 9 times and am 1 attempt away from erasing all my data. Fortunately, as it was work issued, my work has an online portal through which you can unlock your device - however it only works over wi-fi, which isn't currently switched on!

Any way I can turn wi-fi on a locked device?

If you can't do it from the control center at the lock screen, try rebooting it.

Thanks KiltedTim.

Unfortunately I don't have access to the control centre, when I scroll from the bottom of the screen it doesn't appear.

I have rebooted twice, however all this does is reset the locked period before being allowed to try another passcode (i.e. locks my phone for 60 minutes).
