I’m in the States (TX), safari thinks I’m in UK

So when I search through google on safari, a LOT of my results are websites with co.uk at the end. I also tried to sign up for Credit Karma and it’s saying I’m not in the US. Actually just signing into this forum it said I was in Virginia. Sooo I feel a little lost (literally). Help? Thx

It was the VPN!! I deleted the profile, and everything seems fine now. Thank you!

Your welcome. Glad you got it sorted out. VPNs are perfectly fine when used to connect you to a private network to access secure resources (e.g a corporate network used for accessing systems you require access to that can't be exposed to the public Internet). The vast majority of VPN services you can use that supposedly protect your privacy actually do nothing of the sort.

Go to Settings-General-Language & Region. If the Region is correct, the phone is set properly.

If you clear the cache and browsing history, websites should not be confused unless you are using a VNP.

As to the difference between your actual location and the "indicated" location, that is a function of how the network you are linked to is set up and you do not have control over that.
