What happens when you have the "Erase all data after 10 failed passcode attempts" option and you fail 10 times?
When the data is erased after 10 failed passcode attempts, will you get to set up the device as a new device or will it still be locked ?
The contents of the phone get wiped AND the phone remains locked to its registered AppleID.
In other words, screwed twice over. Unless the device was obtained thru illicit means, in which case a deserved punishment.
