Apple Watch won’t detect Bluetooth headphones or any other devices

Apple Watch series 2 with latest update. Trying to connect Bluetooth headphones to watch but it just won’t find any devices.

I know the headphones work as I can find them on my iPhone. I make sure I turn iPhone Bluetooth off before trying with Apple Watch.

Have tried restarting watch and having headphones sitting right next to watch but nothing.

How do I get the watch’s Bluetooth to work correctly?

Hi

The following steps may help when using compatible Bluetooth headphones with Apple Watch, having previously resolved the same issue for some other users:

Unpair your headphones from your iPhone or any other device that they may already be paired with.

Restart your Apple Watch:

Check that you are following both the manufacturer's pairing instructions for your headphones, including for placing them into discovery / pairing mode, and Apple's instructions:

Try moving your Apple Watch and headphones to a different location, further away from any other active Bluetooth devices.

Enable and disable Airplane Mode on your Apple Watch:
