Apple TV 4K and Sony XBR-65X930E

I am having a time getting 60hz HDR 4K working with the Apple TV 4K and my 2017 Sony XBR-65X930E, which supports the various HDR formats. Any attempts to switch that on fail.

I have tried five different cables, including the Belkin cables that Apple recommends.

I have tried through a Marantz SR5011 receiver and directly connected to the TV. Also tried several of the four HDMI ports. There are no HDMI settings for this TV and it supports HDR10 as well as DolbyVision.

I tried contacting Apple support but nobody seemed to be able to help. I am hopeful someone out there is attempting the same thing with the same line of TVs.

On your TV, to change the HDMI signal format setting, press the HOME button, then select Settings > External inputs > HDMI signal format > and choose Enhanced format.
