Suddenly my amazon app will only open in portrait mode...I need landscape mode. I use a Zagg keyboard.

Same issue for me which began yesterday 21/10/17. I spent a long time on the phone to Amazon having tried all manner of ways to try to get landscape view on my iPad app. Eventually I asked the advisor to speak to their technical department which she did. Apparently you can no longer get landscape view on the app since yesterday. So there you are. I thought it might have had something to do with the latest iOS update but not so it seems. You can still get both views on the Amazon website. So annoying.

This is what they say:

"I see this issue has occurred to us multiple number of times. Our tech team is working on it to resolve this for you.

My sincere apologies.

We are facing some technical issues and our tech team will resolve it. You can expect an update once it is resolved from our end."

Get the app update. It was specifically fixed "1d" ago.

Same for me & it started after an Amazon app update, it’s not. An iOS problem thankfully.
Hopefully there’ll be an update to fix it ASAP for those in the UK.

I have the same issue. Started yesterday. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still does not work. I have also installed the app new on my wife’s ipad and that has the same issue.

Not here in the UK - no update to the Amazon App which fixes this problem. Have deleted and reinstalled but still - annoyingly - only in portrait mode.

Let's hope this gets fixed on the next UK update.

I emailed amazon in regard to this issue and was informed their tech people would have it resolved within 48;hrs this was over 3 days ago now !! So annoying using in this portrait mode. I have actually been using the app a lot less due to this as find it so inconvenient (although my other half is quite happy with this )

Not here it’s not. Amazon has updated on 23rd but still locked in portrait.
