Hello, Sorry to here you have misplaced your iPad. To use your iPhone to find it open the Find iPhone app on your iPhone. You should see a list of devices that are available to find. If your iPad is on line a green dot will appear on the left. Select your device, and a map will open showing the location. Beneath the map select Actions. If you tap the car icon on the right you can receive driving directions to your iPad. You can Play a sound to help find it if it is close by, or place it in Lost Mode which lets you lock and track your iPad, and provide contact information Incase it is found. You can also erase the iPad, but once erased it can no longer be located.

If your iPad is off line the map may show you the last known location, or you may not be able to locate it, but you can still place the iPad in Lost Mode, Play a Sound, or Erase it When it comes on line. You can also select Notify When Found, and you will get a notification if the iPad comes on line, and can be located.

Open the “find my iPhone” app on your phone and it will show you where your devices are as long as they have access to internet.
