Why is there a small alarm clock at the top right corner of the usaa app that won’t go away on my iPad? I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and it’s atill there

The app is put there for your convenience because iOS observed that you accessed it at that time in the past, hence the clock badge. If your usage pattern changes, iOS will adjust its suggestions, or stop this time-based suggestion.

I'm glad I just read this, as I opened my iPad a few minutes ago and found that appearing on the calendar app in the same place. Did you read this somewhere? I've been trying to find it in the iPad User Guide and can't. Just for future reference, since the icon has since disappeared. I'm finding more difficult to keep up with the changes! 😕

Apple broadly explained that Artificial Inteligence is used to create the suggestions at both WWDC and the iPhone release event. They also used this functionality as examples in interviews their AI experts did more recently. There are supposed to be other badges as well, but the clock one is the only one I’ve ever encountered.
