on some forums I visit I will enter a reply, and find that some characters show up wrong.
I type it’s and get it?s with the ? Upside down. I can’t even find an upside down ? On the keyboard to type,it on purpose. Most Everyone else’s Comments show up correctly, so the problem seems to be fact I am using an apple device. What setting have I got wrong?

Go to settings/general/keyboard and make sure Smart Punctuation is turned off.
Working with support. That did not work for my “fix”. APPLE, what is going on. This is ridiculous and I have now spent 45 minutes with your support team!!!.......
That is not fixing the problem. When I can’t type capital “I” without getting some funky characters. This just started happening and is incredible annoying.
What happened? I’ve done the update for the “emoji” fix and this is still happening.
Hello Tom. Another interesting innovation, incompletely thought through. Gives us something to do, I guess.
Definitely a bit crazy to have something active by default that cuts sms message limits in half. But on other hand, a forum which can only accept ascii punctuation is really behind the times.
