Stuck in macOS utilities.

Stuck in utilities, tried to quit. Reinstall Sierra, just get a permission denied. Hellppp!!!

Hello Thatbooy.

Try the steps in this article:
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck
If you're still having this issue, can you let us know if you've been able to run First Aid? Do you know if you have a Time Machine backup to protect your data?

If I understand your post correctly, you are getting a permission error when trying to reinstall macOS. I'd like to help.
Are you able to boot into safe mode? Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

I’m not sure, every time I shut it off and turn back on. It goes back to utilities. I haven’t touched the computer in a month and does the same thing. Idk if it’s in safe mode or not

Hi, I have the same problem. Can’t get in safe mode either. Does this mean I can’t change the “permission”?
