Can I add Wifi to a Mac Pro ME253LL/A?
The Wi-Fi adapter in the Mac could possibly be burnt out or otherwise non functional, but that model comes with one from factory and its not removable.
You can use an external USB wifi adapter with it however.
As to the CD drive, being a small cylinder there's no space for drive in it, but again you can use an external USB Cd drive like apple's own Super Drive.
That model already includes a Wi-if adapter.
The Mac I'm interested in is from late 2013 (assuming that makes a difference), and the seller states specifically that it doesn’t support Wi-Fi.
Thanks for your reply, but the Mac also doesn’t have a CD or DVD drive, so I won’t be buying it.
Your Mac Pro has WiFi.
What makes you think you need to add it?
The 2013 Mac Pro never had an optical drive.
Apple has dropped all optical drives now.
If the Mac Pro does not support Wi-Fi then the card for that is probably burned out.
