Apple Maps voice does not show

Okay, so with the phone connected to the watch and AirPods, you don't hear sound in the AirPods? Have you selected AirPods as the source? Do you see the directions and feel the haptic responses on the watch? I'm not sure that you would get spoken directions on the watch and the phone both.

EDIT: I just tested this on my iPhone 7. Now I'm not connecting to an Apple Watch series 3, but once I selected Go, when looking at the timing portion of the route at the bottom of the page, if I tap on that it allows me to select the Audio. I cannot select the Output for audio if I do not have something other than the phone connected. The directions appear on my original watch, but no sound. I can select the phone for an audio source, or my AirPods.

I'm not sure exactly what is going on there. Seems you have some additional things you are doing, with that Record in the top of the screen, as well as what looks like the Mirroring icon in the status bar. Are you sure everything is correct? I don't see an icon for an Audio source, and don't see an icon for your AirPods being connected either. I wonder if it has something to do with your Mirroring or recording that is causing this issue.

Sorry, but so much of the maps you are showing is not representative of what I see on mine. I don't see the status bar as you do, I don't see all of those dots under the direction as you do, and I see an audio icon in the bottom, as well as the arrival time, the driving time, and the distance. I can't tell if that has something to do with how Maps works in your country or not. I'm in the US, so it is hard to tell.

After clicking on Directions and it calculates them, did you tap on the Go button? Are you connected to Bluetooth in your vehicle?
