set up Mac email on Macbook pro using outlook

I have Mac book pro with outlook as my email client. I had my Mac.com address set up and working but all of a sudden it will not work and seeps throwing out password and says can't connectct to server

any help is appreciated

You need to generate an app-specific password to use your iCloud email account in the Outlook mail client.
