has anyone tried the windows mixed reality on an iMac?

I am a graduate student at the University of Central Oklahoma working on my masters in experimental psychology. I am doing research in Virtual Reality. Here on campus we have an iMac and the Acer Mixed Reality (developers edition) headset. I could download windows with bootcamp on the iMac but I wanted to make sure it worked before I did so.

any tips?

how much space should I give windows when installing it? etc etc
