HDCP Content Requirements Help

Hi, I need some help. I am trying to play content from Amazon.com (they are purchased videos) and it works on my computer screen (it says HD), but when I plug into my tv it says can't play HD "because your display doesn't meet HDCP content protection requirements". What are the special HDMI adapters and cables I need to make this work? I will try it without my HDMI splitter and see if that helps.

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS Sierra (10.12.4), Late 2015

Well, other stuff works on my TV (like Apple TV movies and all that). And IdrisSeabright I use the ClearPlay extension for Chrome so I need it on a browser 🙂

I was referring specifically to your statement that you were getting movies from Amazon. If that is something you do regularly, a Fire TV stick is an excellent investment. As for anything else you may be trying to do, I can't tell you. But, I can't imagine that trying to view movies from Amazon through a browser and streaming it to a television is going to be a good experience.
