Summing mix to mono output-Newbie
Newbie here...
I am using Logic Pro live with a MOTU Ultralite for track playback and effects on a solo mic. Outputting two mixes, front of house (FOH), and in-ear monitors (IEM). Many places I go will be mono PA systems. If I have stereo sources (playback and reverb), and stereo outs to IEM, how do I sum that all to a mono output? If you mono Output 3-4, it becomes Output 3, which is simply the left side of the mix.
Obviously, I can do it externally with a simple analog mixer, but Logic Pro must be able to do it. One option would be to post-fade Send all of the track objects to a mono bus, I suppose, but can't you sum outputs?
