I want to preorder the iphone x but they don’t have the sim free option
If i order the one that says unlocked with tmobile sim (full price) will it work with my gsm sim card or is it still locked to the tmobile sim and i have to unlock it before using my sim?

Yes its not updated with iPhone X but its still complicated. Like in LTE supported list there are 4 different models are displayed of iPhone 8 and from that only 2 with iPhone 8 Model A1863 (GSM) Model A1863 (CDMA) will work in India with Aritel, Reliance Gio and vodafone. So how can any one will be sure rather then Apple or T-Mobile ?
Sorry to ask you again but I want to make sure that it will work in any country with any GSM card right ? or I have to ask apple company for this clarification ?
Presupposing you're in the USA and pretend to take the phone abroad and have it work, it appears you will have to do a bit of homework. Here you can determine which bands are used where: iPhone - View countries with supported LTE networks - Apple With that you can check which bands are supported by the X models available, see the tech specs. Since that page has not been updated to include the X.
